 Hi. Month 2 of training for Rasselbock BYU September 13th 2025 Hardwick Hall.

Loop training has dropped off, until today, due to symptoms of virus. Took life a little easier and fortunately no proper full on cold, etc. Family were not so lucky. Maybe jab helped.

Maintaining 50k weekly target, eating salted nuts on long runs, no drinks yet. Enjoying challenge of doing a parkrun every week, one an effort for club league. This has included post pub crawl and gigs.

Back story part 1. Been a runner since secondary school, early 70's jogging boom, joined Gateshead Harriers in 1974, aged 14, with two friends. Coach was famously Stan Long, Brendan Fosters coach in his hey day. 

Back to now. I need to know

- how many calories/kg to consume for energy

- how much water/salt for hydration

I continue to use suggestions from previous post.
