Netflix and Trump

 The equivalent of every household in the UK has a Netflix subscription.

Basic £4.99 per month £60 per annum (year)

Netflix productions are financed using this income but most profit goes to shareholders not creators or actors. Netflix changed its accounting procedures and now pays tax in the UK. 

If a household spent £60 pa on 

occupants healthy living

mental well being

The NHS could be better off


Consider replacing Netflix, an American company, with any other prominent Private company and the expenditure would be better spent but UK voters continue to support non-UK businesses. 

Many of these voters complain about (Im)migrants, many of whom keep UK public funded services running, not helping the UK.

One of the protagonists of this message was jailed this week. A US presidential candidate, most aligned to this individual, has been accused of various crimes with evidence but has escaped justice but using Money Power. His speeches have the same strong character approach as Putin in Russia, but people ignore this analogy in favour of their own narrative.

17m people voted to align the UK with the US rather than Europe. They voted to align themselves with a Money Powerful war mongering failed businessman, sexual predator who does what he wants regardless of consequences because he is allowed to do so by a so-called democracy that enables abusers to reach the top and promote their narrative of abuse.

The human race's reluctance to challenge our own species is the sole reason our world, planet and universe is under threat. One small group of abusers allowed to rule the roost. 

The influence of the US on the UK, and the rest of the world is much greater than people can see and is covered by an infinite number of smokescreens to confuse people into accepting it has to be this way.

It is much easier to accept your abuser, and keep quiet about it, than challenge them. Call the police you say.

We have laws in the UK, and elsewhere, but Money Power people can evade them. 

Many prominent abusers have only been revealed after their death. The personality of the abuser is 'analysed' over and over and yet they continue to abuse. 

A system that does not expose them protects them. 

A system that elects an abuser reinforces the personality type as not just ok but worthy of praise.

A system that claims to provide truth, justice, equality, freedom cannot be credible if it elects and protects abusers.

The right wing has sought to destabilise democracy in favour of their man. Many believe standing up for the true democratic system is the correct response. What if it is not? 

Do the people of The British Empire really want to elect a president of the US by proxy in order to rid our land of undesirables? The Leader of the Free World is a fictitious entity but if you engage with it you need to consider if the consequences are your fault or someone else's.

 So my 12 month journey to my first Backyard Ultra, at age 62, is over. Saturday 13th September. 10 am set off on first lap of Rasselbock BYU Hardwick. Having assembled a crew of friends and practised avidly the event was now real.  I had adopted and practised a mindset that does not set a limit but also takes account of where you are at so as to be aware of realistic personal aims. I did not make this known. All I said was minimum 8 laps (hours).  My actual ultra distance achievement before was 40 miles in 2023. Starmer's choice

 As our government assists the Israeli government in unnecessary deaths of Palestinians it seems irony is lost on many of them. Some of you will think this is 'bad taste'. What should leave a bad taste is our government's actions. If this is what democracy brings then that's a reason not to vote. I do not accept that not voting is tantamount to voting Tory or worse. I have consciously not voted for 44 years. We have invaded Iraq, Afghanistan and The Falklands. We have assisted many government war machines to 'defend' their 'disputed' territory. The senseless human acquisition and protection of land, property and other assets is not natural it is a conscious decision to kill other human beings and not for survival.  The working class, the poor, even the middle class will never rule the capitalist system. The capitalist system is the system of the ruling class, the rich, the wealthy.
