If the Only metric you use to judge something is money then you are failing to see something.
If the only thing that matters is winning then you are failing to think something else.

The Olympics is a world wide collection of human beings, representing countries, in sporting pursuits.

Summer Olympics
In 2024, around 10,500 athletes from 206 NOCs competed in the Summer Olympics in Paris, France. However, Russia and Belarus were suspended by the IOC for violating the Olympic Truce following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, so approved athletes from those countries competed as "Individual Neutral Athletes".
The majority, more than 103 countries, have at least one non-white team member. Who travel to a different country to compete. One of the founding principles of the Olympics is inclusivity.
Human beings generally wish to be included, some less so, but all humans dislike being excluded. As social beings being excluded hurts. Many experience this, if temporarily, during life but some experience it regularly because others exclude them either directly or indirectly (maybe not realising).
To understand human relationships requires a level of thought not necessarily education, awareness or knowledge but certainly information. If the information you are exposed to is restricted then it could effect your understanding. If the information is deliberately, without evidence, swayed then you can be misguided.
